    Airbnb and Booking.com feature everything from cozy apartments to full homes, many located near the city center and the beach, and most important – the stadium.
    Participants and visitors can easily find a comfortable stay to enjoy the competition days to the fullest.

Getting to Liepāja – Travel Options

✈️ By Air

  • Riga International Airport (RIX) – The most convenient option. From Riga, you can reach Liepāja by bus (e.g., LuxExpress), which offers frequent departures and a premium travel experience.

  • Palanga Airport (PLQ) – Located closer to Liepāja, but limited public transport options. LuxExpress just opened their route between Klaipeda and Liepāja with a stop in Palanga Airport. Keep in mind - only three trips per day. Other option would be if you plan to rent a car there.

  • Also viable options are Vilnius Airport (VNO) or Kaunas Airport (KUN), but yet again – getting to Liepāja might be tricky. Consider this option only if you are advanced traveller.

🚢 By Ferry

  • Stena Line operates 14 trips weekly between Travemünde (Lübeck, Germany) and Liepāja. Ideal for travelers coming from Central Europe with their own cars.

🚗 By Road
You can easily reach Liepāja from multiple directions via national highways:

  • Riga – Liepāja: A9 (220 km)

  • Klaipėda (Lithuania) – Liepāja: A11 (100 km)

  • Ventspils – Liepāja: P111 (120 km)

  • Kuldīga – Liepāja: P112 (90 km)

Once you're in the city (actually, you can rent the car for multiple days in any town where the service is available), getting around is easy with CityBee and Bolt (and CarGuru - rentable at Riga) carsharing services – a flexible and modern way to explore Liepāja and Latvia.
